A committee member understands that the events they attend and appreciate take many hands and much time to organise and feel ready to contribute to their organisation if called upon to do so. This means that committee members have time – and are willing to make time – for the club and that when this time is made, they consider it a priority. This is because, a committee member understands the importance of attending scheduled meetings; and is motivated by the prospect of potentially working towards rising to the Chair should it be their wont. And while there are no appraisals of committee members, their enthusiasm for the club is apparent to the committee as a whole and is integral in maintaining Coleman Street’s inclusive and jolly ethos.

5.
