Visit to the Museum of Brands, Packaging & Advertising
with a 2-course pub lunch at The Elgin
Wednesday 2nd May 2018
The Chairman welcomed Members and Guests to the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising just off Ladbroke Grove in West London. The Museum contains some 15,000 items - collected over 50 years by Mr Robert Opie. A fascinating introductory talk by one of the Museum's curators was followed by a walk down memory lane.
While wandering around the displays, the group swapped stories of reminiscence and shared their experiences of the many familiar and barely remembered products on display.
The group then made its way around the corner to the The Elgin public house for a very substantial fish & chip lunch.
